LEGO bricks in Fortnite: a New Crossover in the Making?

Fortnite fans may be in for a treat as a new leak suggests that a collaboration with LEGO is currently in the works. According to reliable leaker @GMatrixGames, Epic Games is developing a “full Brick Database for Unreal Engine” which leads to speculation that a LEGO island could be coming to the popular battle royale game. While leaks can take a long time to come to fruition and are not always reliable, the idea of a LEGO island in Fortnite has fans excited for the potential possibilities.

Fortnite has had a number of collaborations in the past, such as adding content based on My Hero Academia in the recent Chapter 4 Season 1. While the game had to remove some items such as the Deku Smash and temporarily disable the Shockwave Hammer, they were eventually brought back with changes to make them more fair.

It’s worth noting that the release date for this collaboration, if it happens, is still uncertain and it’s not clear what it will look like when it’s eventually released. However, fans of both Fortnite and LEGO can look forward to the potential of this crossover.

Fortnite is currently available on various platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
