Rising to the Top: A Guide to Becoming a Tycoon in Adopt Me

If you’ve never played Adopt Me on Roblox – you are missing out on an amazingly addicting experience! Let me tell you! I only recently found this game about four months ago, and have played it nearly everyday since. So, I know how challenging it can be to master the game. After all, this virtual world is filled with competition and players who have been at it for a while.

But you shouldn’t let that discourage you! With the right strategies and tips, you too can rise to the top and become a respected and accomplished player. In this guide, I’ll take you through the ins and outs of the game and give you the tools you need to become a tycoon in Adopt Me, just like me!

Stacking Up the Bucks: The Money Grind Never Stops

Buying bucks in Adopt Me

First things first, this game is all about spending! From the cute pet wear and toys to eggs, pets, and vehicles, there’s always something to spend your bucks on. Given that I made mistakes at first and wasted my cash, here are some tips to prevent you from doing the same.

Don’t Splurge

It’s going to be tempting to buy new things, but spend your money wisely. Just like for most people in real life, money is hard to come by in Adopt Me. To earn it you must either work a job at the pizza place or salon or get paid for completing pet tasks. And then there’s the daily limit to how much you can earn, which is $150. So, to say it takes time to build wealth, is an understatement!

Places are always hiring in Adopt Me so you can earn some bucks

However, if you save money and only buy necessities like food and eggs to begin, you’ll see your savings multiply in no time.

Buy Cracked Eggs

There are at least five types of eggs for sale in Adopt Me at all times. These include the cracked egg ($350), Retired Egg (VIP Room $600), Pet Egg ($600), Gumball Egg (Currently Japan Egg $750), and the Royal Egg ($1,450).

buying a cracked egg for 350

While your chances of hatching a legendary pet get higher the more expensive the egg, in most cases anyway, it’s usually not worth it at the beginning. In fact, the few times I’ve splurged and bought the Royal Egg, I only hatched a rare and an uncommon. Alternatively, last week I hatched a Cracked Egg and got a coveted Alicorn. So, though it may take buying more eggs to get better pets, this is a great strategy for building your pet inventory. My suggestion is to stick with Cracked Eggs or those from the Gumball Machine because they contain a different selection of pets from the Cracked, Pet, and Royal Eggs. The other egg I suggest buying is the Retired Egg (if you are a VIP), which contains the original set of pets that were first available when Adopt Me was launched. This gives you the chance to get a valuable buffalo or even the highly sought after unicorn.

Role Play as a Baby

Playing as a baby may not sound like the most desirable role, but it’s one of the best ways to increase your cash flow the fastest. With this mode, you not only receive bucks for taking care of your pets needs, but yours as well. And since you and your pet’s needs usually occur simultaneously, it’s a simple transition gameplay wise.

Choosing to be a baby or parent in adopt me roblox game

Just beware that at times it gets annoying when adult players pick you up and carry you around. But, you are able to jump out of their arms and run away, so it’s not too big of a deal. The other thing is that if you don’t want to role play as a baby, you can always choose the “Create a Family” option and ask one to join your family. Doing this means you will get paid for the completion of their needs when you are near. Either way, if your money isn’t adding up as fast as you need it to, use one of these strategies and watch the money pile up!

Login Daily

screenshot of star rewards for logging in daily

Even if you don’t have time to play, it’s worth logging in each day for the rewards. First, you have the chance to collect bucks, chests, or even eggs for a long enough streak. Then, there are the star rewards, which allow you to collect special toys, pets, Gold Eggs, and Diamond Eggs. Aside from the cool gifts, it’s actually kind of fun seeing how long of a streak you can maintain – so login daily and keep it going!

Get a Money Tree

Screenshot of Money Tree in my house on Adopt Me

Before we get into this you should know that I’m not one to waste a bunch of money on house decor. Now don’t get wrong, my house is cute and tastefully decorated inside, but I barely spent any bucks on it. And if you love to decorate your home and are trying to save money to do so, then good for you! I hope to stumble upon you one day and check it out, but it’s just not me.

Regardless if you’re like me and would rather have pets, or if you’re the person trading a legendary pet to have another player decorate your home – you need to invest in a Money Tree! It’s not life-changing by any means, but it does earn you an extra $100 bucks each day. And no – that’s not per tree – it’s per DAY! So, it doesn’t matter if you buy one Money Tree or five of them, you’re only earning an extra $100 per real-life day. But, hey! An extra $100 is an extra $100, so it’s worth it. My suggestion is to buy two of these, as it helps collect the money that much faster, but buying more than two is probably a waste.

Pay Attention to the Task Board

The Task Board

The task board is another great way to earn money once a day. Essentially, you’ll receive a random task. It can be anything from hatch 3 eggs to earn $100 to play 30 minutes with a friend for $60. Most of these activities are simple and don’t require you to spend any bucks.

However, beware that some tasks don’t pay out unless you do things like purchase pet wear or add a new stroller to your inventory. The good news is that you can refresh one task once daily. So, if you don’t like what’s there, simply refresh it and hope you get something good.

Buy a Cauldron

Okay, so admittedly, this is not a crucial step toward becoming Adopt Me rich, but it will make the gameplay easier. There are several cauldrons for sale in the home store that craft potions. Currently, there are three options: Big Head (literally gives you a giant head), Speed (makes you run faster), and Anti-Gravity (makes you jump really high).

The one I suggest you invest in is the cauldron that makes the Hyperspeed potion. Of course, you can just buy these potions for $40 each at the Sky Castle, but once you’ve bought the cauldron and brewed just 16 potions, the item has paid for itself. I’m telling you – once you start using these to get around the map faster, you won’t want to play without them!

On a side note, you may even get lucky and be able to trade the potions for other items. Just beware that when I see people offering them, they are not fast-sellers. And if I’m being honest, the only reason I bought the cauldron in the first place was because someone said you could trade them for other stuff. Once I discovered how useful they are, trading them was out of the question.

Learn to Teleport

If you’re saving for a cauldron but aren’t there yet, the other travel tip I’d like to share is to make use of the teleport option. This option is found under most tabs in the Backpack, and makes it really easy to get around Adopt Me City and around the main portal that leads to the neighborhood.

One such example is going to the “Pets” tab in the Backpack and clicking on the plus sign. Doing this will prompt the game to ask if you’d like to travel to the nursery. This is one of the best places to travel as it puts you right in the middle of the town square. Other great teleporting locations are the park via the strollers shop and then under the “Food” section is the Farm Store where you can stock up on necessities.

Trading Up: The Key to Building Your Adopt Me Empire

Pets, pets, pets! That’s what Adopt Me is all about these days! Gone are the days when pets were just a cute little addition to the game. Oh no, now they are the main attraction! And let’s face it, who doesn’t want the best of the best?

With new uncommon, rare, ultra-rare, and legendary pets popping up all the time, players are constantly on the lookout for the next big catch. These pets are like the ultimate accessory in Adopt Me, showing off your success and giving you an edge in the game. But let’s not forget, it’s not just about flexing on your friends, it’s also about the thrill of the hunt and the satisfaction of adding that one-of-a-kind pet to your collection.

Learning the ins and outs of Adopt Me can feel like a real challenge at first, but don’t you worry! It’s not as hard as it seems and before you know it, you’ll be a pro! And lucky for you, I’m here to share all my tips and tricks that I’ve picked up along the way. So buckle up and get ready for a wild ride, because we’re about to make Adopt Me your new favorite game!

Hard Work Pays Off With Neon Pets

Neon pets in Adopt Me

Yes, I know. Making neon pets in Adopt Me is not an easy task by any means. After all, you have to age up four of the same pets to be fully grown. But once this is done you simply take the four pets to the right place on the map, and you walk out with a highly coveted neon pet.

What’s the big deal? The big deal is that they are valuable in the trading market – even common neons. And the truth is that when you really start playing the game, your pet inventory increases rapidly. With this, there’s no way to avoid ending up with the same pets over and over. To put it into perspective, at this moment I have 8 camels, 6 mice, 4 orangutans, 3 alicorns, and countless other duplicates.

And if you’re feeling really adventurous, you can collect 16 of the same pet. Why? Because if you age every one of them up you can create four neons. Once you have four neon pets (of the same type) you simply age them all the way up and create a mega neon pet. I’ve seen people with mega neon commons trade up to legendaries with no effort – so this is definitely worth it!

Master the Art of Adopt Me Trading

Trading screen in Adopt Me

The one thing you will learn pretty quickly is that serious Adopt Me players know their values and will call you out for scammy/unfair trades. After they’ve announced that you are under, some will even blatantly say that you need to learn your values.

My advice with this is to do your best to learn the values. If you’re like me and can’t memorize all of that, I suggest using a second device while you’re playing to check values before trading. In general, I’ll decide which pet I want to trade and see what it’s worth and then do simple trades to get something I like. After four months or so of playing, I’m still learning values and the art of trading, so I’ll update this later once I’ve actually mastered this skill LOL!

Take Advantage of Events and Limited Items

If there’s one thing you gotta know about Adopt Me, it’s that events and limited items are where it’s at! From exclusive pets, eggs, vehicles, pet wear, toys, and strollers, you name it – these items are like gold mines.

They’re only available for a limited time, and once they’re gone, their value goes through the roof. Trust me, I’ve seen it happen time and time again. And here’s a pro tip for you, sometimes a limited uncommon pet may be even more desirable than a standard legendary. So, don’t sleep on these events and limited items, because they’re the key to building your Adopt Me portfolio!

Making it Rain Robux: Unlocking the Secrets of Smart Spending

buying robux

Now, I’m not saying you have to make it rain Robux to enjoy Adopt Me, because that’s simply not the case. However, if you feel like splurging every now and then but want to spend it wisely, here are some tips to steer you in the right direction.

Invest in a Stand

Buying a lemonade or cotton candy stand in adopt me to get rich

If I were going to buy one thing using Robux in Adopt Me, it would be a stand. What do I mean by stand? Well, you can choose between the Lemonade Stand, Cotton Candy Stand, and Hot Dog Stand. The lemonade and cotton candy versions cost 50 Robux a piece, while the hot dog stand is priced at 95.

Personally, I can’t speak about the hot dog version because I have a lemonade and a cotton candy stand. And before you ask – you can only have one stand up at a time, so there is no double-dipping on profit in Adopt Me. Regardless, even if you play for a short time each day, placing a stand in the current hangout spot is sure to earn you some extra money.

The VIP Option

buying a retired egg for 600

This Robux option is a bit pricier than buying a stand. To become a VIP in Adopt Me it will cost you 750 Robux. At first I saw no point in joining, but that was until I read the benefits. Listen, this package pays for itself in several ways! Here’s a quick list of what you get for the 750 Robux:

  • $100 In-game Bucks
  • [VIP] Chat Tag
  • A Golden Bone you can use to tame a Chow Chow
  • A Mansion with 3 stories and a theater
  • Limo to haul your friends around
  • Access to buy Retired Eggs and additional Golden Bones
  • Access to FREE water, chocolate milk, popcorn, and ham (does not save)

The benefits really speak for themselves – this is one splurge that you will not regret! Talk about flexing! Heads will turn when you roll through the center of Adopt Me City in your brand new limo or walk out the front door of your VIP home!

Fly and Ride Potions

buying a fly or ride potion

These potions are better than vehicles in my opinion. Not only do they make pets travel the same speed or faster than a vehicle, but arriving on your most valuable pet is priceless. At this time, fly potions are priced at 295 Robux, while a ride potion only costs 150. While these are definitely not needed to enjoy the game, they are a necessity if you really want to flex.

Not to mention, they will increase the value of your pet exponentially. And when you start dealing in pets with potions attached, the process becomes that much more addicting!

Avoiding the Fakes: How to Spot and Sidestep Scammers in Adopt Me

screenshot of scammers in adopt me offering fake games and trust trades

Before I go, we gotta talk about one more thing that’s really important. Scammers! They’re everywhere, and they’re always looking for ways to trick you out of your hard-earned pets. They’ll offer fake games, trust trades, and even pretend to be new players to scam you.

And let’s be real, that’s not a fun experience. In fact, they might even try to convince you that they know a secret hack to turn your pet into a neon, but trust me, it’s not real. It’s just a scam to take advantage of you.

But don’t fret! Adopt Me has a built-in system that helps protect players from unfair trades. So, if a trade is suspicious, the system will warn both players by telling a would-be scammer that they may be banned from the game, while the other player will be warned that they may be getting scammed. So, always be vigilant and use the built-in system to protect yourself from scammers. And remember, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Final Thoughts

Well guys, that’s a wrap! I hope you’re feeling inspired and ready to take on Adopt Me like a pro. So, put on your game face, grab your virtual cash and let’s get started on your journey to riches. Don’t forget, you can always follow my tips and tricks to give yourself an extra edge. And, who knows, you might just become the next Adopt Me millionaire! Happy trading and hope to see you in the game soon!
