Disney+ will soon offer a cheaper subscription plan… with ads!

Disney+ is already affordable at only $7.99/mo – but the company is now going to offer an even cheaper plan. The more affordable Disney+ plan will feature all the same content, however, it will be funded by ads. Many people are okay with ads if they can get a discount, so it’s a win/win situation.

When will Disney+ offer a cheaper subscription with ads?

Late 2022. As of now, that’s the best timeframe we have for when Disney+ plans to launch the new cheaper subscription option.

Apparently, there are a lot of companies who would like to advertise with Disney, and there are also enough people upset about recent streaming service price hikes. When Amazon announced it was going to raise its Prime membership price, people freaked out. When Netflix raised prices, people complained.

Disney is going to separate itself from the competition by offering a very affordable subscription option. What do you think? Will you change your plan or sign up for a cheaper price? Not everyone has the patience to watch ads, especially in a world where everyone has become spoiled by Netflix and Hulu streaming.

If you don’t mind watching ads, this is going to be a great way to save money. With Disney+ you get access to Marvel, Pixar, Disney, Star Wars, and National Geographic content that you can’t stream anywhere else. It’s definitely worth it.
